Training Camp for Canelo Alvarez Now Open

Canelo Alvarez with a professional boxing record of 49 wins in his belt, this Mexican superstar is headlining on their Canelo vs GGG super fight on the 16th of September at Las Vegas’ T-Mobile Arena against middleweight champion with a professional record of 37 wins and 0 loss Gennady Golovkin and both fighters will be the main show on HBO’s PPV.

While everything is in to play, Alvarez is open to what he is doing in his training camp and his daily regimen as well. In Alvarez’ routine, he is off for his 30 minutes run at 6 in the morning followed by his breakfast and then rest to relax his body. As soon as he wakes up then proceeds with his other routine at 1 in the afternoon he takes in a light meal or snack before he proceeds to the gym to finish his training. During Monday, Wednesday and Friday at 2 in the afternoon until 5, he proceeds with his body conditioning and plays on the mitts. Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday will be his sparring sessions. His team created a strict regimen to prepare him mentally and physically without wearing him out prior to his fight; wherein his Golovkin fight will be one of his biggest fights ever to happen.

Basically, his training starts early in the morning and proceeds with the rest of his day training and sparring sessions are more than important to him as well. His mental focus is more intense than ever since he will be facing one of the best fighters in the industry. Moving forward, he is confident that his style is more powerful and superior than Golovkin’s. As a counter puncher, he will showcase a mix up of styles and strategy against Golovkin. Alvarez is facing top sparring partners with the same skill and stance with Golovkin.
