In some locations your need compact work platforms and in others, you need huge one. So you need to ensure the platform you select is right for the kind of project you carry out and is compatible with your job site.
2. Capacity of the Platform
Most manufacturers provide with two different types of capacity ratings. First rating is the amount of maximum weight it can easily carry and other is the number of persons allowed on the machinery. Do not exceed the amount of weight as it can lead to disastrous accidents.
3. Floor of the platform
Gradebility of the work platform is provided by the manufacturer. Therefore, you need to keep in mind if there are any slopes or inclining surfaces that a lift or other equipment may need to cross on the job site. For safety purpose of operator and employees, never exceed the ratings. Moreover, you should research about the kind of floor the platform can work on and how much weight it can support.
Apart from these specifications, ensure that operator has done all the required mobile elevated working platform training.
